i love shooting in michigan, and i certainly love our city of grand.rapids! but when maria and luis said 'chicago' - i jumped at the chance...and exciting possibilities*
we had a great day, starting at the beach where these two best friends had their very first date, and ended in a city that luis knows all too well - the windy city delivered with a beautiful day, and spectacular skylines!
born friday, april 6th* it is a special privilege to be so near to something as precious and beautiful as a newborn child. jana and i had that very privilege when we had the opportunity to visit our good friends tommee and angela, and their new beautiful daughter McKenlee* the parents were even gracious enough to let me take a few photos. i think she has mom's good looks, and dad's piano fingers...watch out world!

so one of the perks of always having a camera in our children's faces, is that fact that when I say 'go!' ben is always ready for a high fashion shoot, with cheesy grins to match. the other day i thought my wife had dressed our son in an especially dapper outfit so here is the product of 'fun with my son'

i don't think we could have packed in more locations into a single engagement session, and with such class and beauty! haha...shooting tony and katie's 'she said yes' session was every bit of spontaneous, fun, whimsical, romantic, and beautiful that you could imagine. it is so great that i have the privilege to be with these two in june! talk about party - can't wait friends! -npe
while at the Amway Grand's bridal event this past weekend, my wife and i had a great time making new friends, one of which is the wonderful Farah Baydoun Merhi! your display was amazing, not only to look at, but i am sure to eat as well. here is a little glimpse into the great assortment of edible delights that we found!
